(GET) (OTC Bulletin Board: GETG), naming the Florida-based makers of G-OIL®, the first bio-based full synthetic oil used in NASCAR competition, as the “Official Motor Oil” of Daytona International Speedway and the Daytona 500.

G-OIL made NASCAR history here at Daytona International Speedway in February 2012 when the TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry driven by Tayler Malsam finished sixth in the DRIVE4COPD 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series event. Brian Keselowski will not attempt the Daytona 500 on his own.

Brian Keselowski has partnered with Kelly Owens who is a partner with Hamilton Means Racing. The two sides will team up together for the Daytona 500 on February 24th. Keselowski announced earlier this year that he would attempt the Daytona 500 in his own No. 92 Toyota. But now he will drive the No. 52 Toyota with the new partnership. Continue reading

Michael Waltrip will attempt the Daytona 500 in February. But it’s not with the team you would expect.

Waltrip will try to make the Daytona 500 field with Swan Racing in the No. 30. Swan Racing came under new ownership this past off-season and plans to run the full NASCAR season for the first time in the team’s history. David Stremme will remain with the team in 2013 but will have to sit out for the Daytona 500.
